If you delete your MySpace account, can you get back the URL? I saw this question over at yahoo answers, and I was curious if you could cancel your account, and then get it back with the same URL. So I created an account, and then went to the My Account tab and deleted the account. Before I deleted, there was a MySpace message that said:
"WARNING: Cancelling your MySpace account will permanently remove all of your profile information from MySpace, including your photos, comments, blog entries, videos, and your personal network of friends. This information cannot be restored."
So we know that when you delete your account all the personal info is gone. But the question is, will your username and url still be available afterwords.
Another message from MySpace:
"Please allow 48 hours for cancellation to take effect. Thank you."
It has not yet been 48 hours, so I'll have to wait and see.

Ok, so it's been two days now, and I just signed up with the exact same username, email, and URL. So I guess the answer to the question is, yes, if you delete your MySpace account, you can re-signup with all of your previous settings, including the URL.
