Homemade granola is incredibly easy to make, and is very 'modification friendly.' Feel free to substitute plain white sugar for the turbinado and brown sugar. Use any grains or dried fruits you like. Also, it's important to note that the honey acts as an emulsifier between the oil and sugar. If you don't use honey, the oil and sugar will remain separate.
Add the sugar mixture to the granola and toss thoroughly to combine.
Spread the mixture evenly on two large-rimmed baking sheets. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring several times, until the granola is crisp and golden. Cool completely.
