What else should I know?
The Pin Arm Wiper Assembly can vary in the width of the pin. The pin can be either 4.8mm or 6.35mm wide.
How do I hook my wiper to it?
Along with the purchased wiper, there should be one, two, or three different types of adapters. These adapters are the connection between the wiper and the wiper arm. If you've bought the correct wiper for your make and model of car, one of these adapters should work. If you're not sure which one to use, check the packaging for instructions. If you're still unsure, you can always ask the people at your local auto parts store for help. In fact, if you've never installed windshield wipers before, I would recomend getting help from the auto parts store right off the bat. It could really save you a lot of time and frustration.
If you've bought Trico brand wipers, you will probably find a windshield wiper installation video on the Trico wiper installation video page.
